I am interested in developing analytical and semi-analytical methods in diffraction theory and acoustic metamaterials. Many of the methods are based on Wiener-Hopf method and the use of special functions in combinations with modern numerical techniques. The elegance of the mathematical construction together with the unexpected deep connections to many areas is what drives my curiosity. The goal is to create new methods of approaching diffraction problems which will be practical to use.
